Three programmes, one room at a time
Domestica offers three engagements, each designed for a different starting point and a different level of need. All three are flat-fee, all three use the same methodology, and all three produce written deliverables you can use immediately.
← Back to HomeHow each session works
Every Domestica session follows the same basic structure, regardless of which programme is chosen. The coordinator arrives at an agreed time, asks the household member to show them the room or area where the session will take place, and then begins working through what is there — identifying, grouping, labelling and recording.
Nothing is read for meaning. The coordinator is looking for document categories and asking questions like: does this belong with other insurance papers? Is this from the same period as those statements? Would you like this group to have its own section in the folder? The decisions are yours; the administrative work of acting on them is ours.
At the close of each session, a written inventory of what was sorted is handed to the household before the coordinator leaves. If any questions arose during the session that fall outside administrative coordination, they are noted in the open-questions register.
Arrive and orient
The coordinator walks the room with you before beginning, to understand what is there and where things tend to end up.
Sort and group
Papers are sorted into broad categories first, then into specific groups within each category. You are present throughout and make all decisions.
Label and file
Folders are labelled to the agreed naming convention. Labels are written in whatever language you prefer.
Record and hand over
The written room inventory is completed and handed to you. Any open questions are noted. The coordinator leaves; the records stay.
One-Room Walkthrough
The smallest engagement offered: a coordinator spends two hours in a single room of your home — usually the one where the papers have collected — and works through what is there with you. Everything is grouped, labelled and listed; nothing is thrown away without your word; nothing is read for meaning. You keep a written inventory of that room and a folder plan you could apply to the next room yourself. Households often stop here, and that is a perfectly sensible outcome.
What is included
- One session of 2 hours in a single room
- Written room inventory handed over before the coordinator leaves
- Labelled folder set for the room's document categories
- Gap list showing what was not reached in the session
- A reusable folder plan you can apply to other rooms independently
RM 500
EnquireGuided Home Programme
A ten-week programme that walks the whole home, one room per fortnight, at a pace a working household can actually keep. Each session inventories and sorts that room's papers, labels them, adds them to a growing digital index on your own storage, and updates the household document map. Between sessions you have email access for administrative questions. The final session writes the orientation note and hands over the map.
This programme is administrative coordination and general information: it organises and explains structure, and does not advise on regulated matters, interpret documents or act for anyone.
What is included
- 5 sessions × 2 hours across 10 weeks
- Room-by-room inventories for each session
- Digital index built on your storage, growing with each session
- Household document map updated throughout
- Orientation note and open-questions register at close
- Email access between sessions for administrative questions

Full Plan Archive Programme
A four-month programme for larger homes, or for families managing a home that has been in the same hands for decades. Every room is walked and inventoried, every drive is indexed, active records are separated from archive, the digital set is scanned and named to a single convention on family-owned storage, the physical set is rebuilt and labelled to match, and a full orientation document is written for a reader with no prior knowledge.
Sorting, scanning, indexing, labelling and writing only. This programme does not include regulated professional advice of any kind.

- Room-by-room inventory for every room in the home

BEST FOR
One-Room Walkthrough
Households that want to try the process before committing further, or that have one particularly problematic accumulation they would like to sort out first.
MOST COMMON CHOICE
Guided Home Programme
Working households with a full home of papers and the need for a complete, searchable index and a document map — but without the scale of a decades-old property.
BEST FOR
Full Plan Archive
Larger homes, long-occupied family properties, or households preparing for a significant life event such as a property sale or estate administration.
Protocols across all three programmes
Confidentiality undertaking
All coordinators sign a confidentiality undertaking before their first household session. The contents of the session are not discussed with third parties under any circumstances.
Data removed before leaving
Any digital copies made during a session are transferred to household-owned storage and deleted from coordinator devices before the coordinator leaves. No household data is retained by Domestica.
Written agreement before sessions begin
A written engagement letter sets out scope, sessions, deliverables and fee before any work starts. If the scope changes, a revised letter is agreed before proceeding.
Nothing discarded without agreement
The coordinator makes recommendations about what might be discarded; the household makes the decision. Nothing leaves without consent.
PDPA-aligned practices
Domestica's data handling is aligned with the requirements of Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010 throughout all programme types.
Clear scope, no overreach
Coordinators are trained to recognise the boundary of administrative coordination. Questions that require a professional are recorded, not answered.
Flat-fee pricing
All fees are quoted in Malaysian Ringgit. Prices are fixed totals — no session minimums, no add-ons, no variable billing. Payment arrangements discussed at enquiry stage.
One-Room Walkthrough
One session of 2 hours. Inventory, labelled folders, gap list and reusable folder plan included.
